Nature 💠 Scale 💠 Complexity 💠 Precision
Every Regulated Entity is unique with a combination of characteristics that defines the nature of its business and determines what Regulatory obligations are applicable to its operations.
The first challenge involves the identification of the Regulatory documents that apply to its operations.
The requirements in each document will then need to be interpreted to clearly define each regulatory obligation.
Nature is the first step of an impact assessment. It involves interpretation, clarification and judgement.
The objective is to create a complete list of regulatory obligations that apply to a Regulated Entity.
It is also about record keeping as the the decisions made will need to be reviewed and justified during a Regulatory engagement.
