Operating Model

Every business follows Standard Operating Procedures, many of which are undocumented. The App uses a process centric design with the detail in each business dimension linked to an activity in a process-flow, to create dependencies.

People

There are three types of resources used to run your operations. The App allows a user to tag a process activity with a job role resource to create a dependency, and build a Competency Framework for selection, training and performance.

Technology

The second group of resources is the systems that automate tasks. Tagging process activities with a system resource allows you to create dependencies that explains how systems support your functions and people to deliver products and services.

Outsource

Service Providers are partners who perform key activities in a supply chain any one of which can result in failure to deliver for your customers. In the App, these dependencies are created by tagging a process activity an outsource resource.

Legal Entities

Operating across multiple legal entities in different jurisdictions creates an added dimension of complexity. Connecting process activities to legal entities in the App enables the assessment proposed changes between different dimensions.

Regulations

Most businesses are already compliant with most Regulations. Demonstrating, the level of compliance isn't easy. The precision and linking functionality in the App's Interactive Rulebook allows you business to prove compliance, line by line.  

Products

Product Management is a business dimension that ensures what you offer customer remains fit for purpose and aligned to their needs. Clear separation of product development activities is achieved with the Apps release management functionality. 

Customers

The pre-built Standard Operating procedures available in the App are designed to show the lifecycle of activities. This ensure that your business retains a clear focus on customers ensuring every service delivery dependency is known.

Solutions Providers

The growth in cloud computing has resulted in a need to understand a new dimension of dependencies in understanding the technology stack. It is similar to Service Providers but more on the timescales to recover data and replace Apps. 

Gaps

In the App we deal with risks, incidents, changes, exceptions, defects as gaps associated with a process activity. What is happening, what should be happening and what is the solution? are questions everyone can answer when the context is known.
