COURSE OVERVIEW NAVIGATION COMPLEXITY: DORA Third-party Compliance Lifecycle [NC_DORA_TPCL] is an applied skills course that uses real world case studies to transfer skills to create effective operating procedures that are compliant with Chapter V, Section I of DORA. LEARNING OBJECTIVES The course is structured around 6 modules aligned to the lifecycle of a ICT Third-party with a total of 34 learning objectives. The first learning objective for each module is listed below: > Risk Strategy and Policy Development. Distinguish between policy and risk strategy documents for a Financial Entity by comparing the role each document plays and its objectives. > Oversight Framework. Outline the role and objectives of an Oversight Framework within a Financial Entity. > Service Acquisition. Describe the key steps that are generally following when selecting ICT Services that are fit for purpose > Regulatory Reporting. Identify the different types of ICT Service contracts for Financial Entities. > Service Outcomes. Identify the information flows required to ensure the Management Team are sufficiently informed about service outcomes > Effectiveness Feedback. Distinguish between the information requirements of a Management Team and Governance Team in a Financial Entity for effective oversight of ICT Services provided by Third-parties TARGET AUDIENCE The course is suitable for Finance, Technology and Compliance Professionals with experience of Bank, Insurance or Asset Management Operating Models and Systems who want to develop a Digital Compliance skillset. PRE-REQUISITES It is recommended that participants first complete NAVIGATING COMPLEXITY: Implementing DORA [NC_I_DORA], a 6-week course focused on the regulatory requirements set out in the DORA Regulation (and related Regulatory and Implement Technical Standards) before signing up.
